Refund and Return Policy
This policy explains returns, refunds, exchanges, and order cancellations for purchases made on pmctechlife.co.za. It applies to orders placed by customers in South Africa and is intended to align with applicable South African consumer law.
Defective or Faulty Goods — 6-Month Warranty
If a product is defective, faulty, unsafe, or not of acceptable quality when delivered, you may return it within 6 months of delivery.
- For confirmed defective items, you may request a refund, replacement, or repair.
- We cover return shipping costs for confirmed defective items.
- Items may be inspected before a defect claim is approved.
- Damage caused by misuse, physical impact, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear is not covered.
Change-of-Mind Returns
You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if you change your mind about the purchase. This applies to online orders only.
To qualify, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original, resalable condition.
- Include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
- Be returned to the approved returns address provided after authorisation.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility. We do not charge handling or restocking fees on approved returns.
Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
- Gift cards and store credit.
- Custom or personalised items.
- In-ear devices and personal sound amplifiers once opened.
- Any item clearly marked as non-returnable at the point of sale.
These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only. They do not affect your rights in relation to defective goods.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return the original item through our returns portal and place a new order.
How to Start a Return
All returns require prior authorisation. Please do not send any item back before receiving return instructions.
- Visit pmctechlife.returnscenter.com.
- Enter your order number and the email address used at checkout.
- Select the item and reason for return.
- Wait for return approval and shipping instructions before sending anything back.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
- Refund processing on our side takes 5 to 7 business days from approval.
- Your payment provider or bank may take additional time to reflect the refund.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled at no charge before dispatch.
- Approved pre-dispatch cancellations are refunded to the original payment method.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. If eligible, it may be returned after delivery through our returns portal in line with this policy.
